Generally speaking, when scheduling a bill payment via TD Bank website, payments you make are delivered in one of two ways:
By electronic transmission: These Billers receive your payments through secure electronic transmission.
By laser draft (paper check): These Billers receive a check that is drawn on your account. A check is created by Bill Pay and then mailed to the Biller’s mailing address. Just like checks you write yourself, the following information is printed on our bill pay check:
-Your routing number and account number
-Date of the payment
-Memo (if you have entered some info in the memo line when you schedule the payment)
