Welcome to TD Helps, Laura.
This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help.
Typically, a Maintenance Fee is assessed to an account if the balance falls below the daily minimum balance, and will always be assessed on the last day of your statement period. The minimum balance in your account, as well as the Maintenance Fee, will depend on the account type you selected, and so that we can better assist you, we'd like to recommend that you connect with us directly.
Please understand that TD Helps is not considered a secure forum of contact, and because of this, we unfortunately are unable to access your account or personal information at this time.
You're first welcome to call and connect with one of our knowledgeable Banking Specialists, who for your convenience are available to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may also visit your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
If you currently have access to your Online Banking, you may also send us a Secure Message. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
We sincerely hope this helps, Laura, and thanks for stopping by today.
Have a great weekend!
