Good afternoon, David! Thanks for stopping by TD Helps.
Here at TD Bank in the U.S., we offer Official Checks only, but essentially Official Checks and Certified Checks are checks issued by the bank with a guarantee of funds.
If you're interested in purchasing an Official Check, please stop in to see us at a local TD Bank Store. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. As there may be a fee associated with purchasing an Official Check, we recommend reviewing our Personal Fee Schedule here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
We see that you're writing in to us from Montreal today. If this is actually in regard to purchasing Official Checks or Certified Checks from TD Canada Trust, we'd like to help get you in touch with a representative there that can help.
You can start by posing your question to our friends at TD Helps in Canada, by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1QBOF4U. If you'd like to speak with a representative at TD Canada Trust directly, you can call their 24/7 Customer Service line at 866-222-3456. We also want to provide you with a link to all of TD Canada Trust's contact info. You can find that by clicking here: https://go.td.com/2tp27BR.
Either way, we hope to hear from you soon. Have a great day, David!
