We would like to thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Chris. We appreciate your interest in starting an account with us!
You must be at least 18 years of age to open an individual Checking Account with TD Bank. Here at TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking accounts. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit you.
Once you have decided the type of the account you wish to open, you may click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application or select the "Open Account" box located beneath each specific account. You may also feel free to call us directly at (888) 751-9000 with any questions you may have. Our Banking Specialists are available 24/7 and would be happy to help and also start the account application for you.
As always, you are welcome to stop by your nearest TD Bank store to speak with a Banking Specialist in regards to setting up the new account or determining what product type fits you the best. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are under the age of 18 and wish to open a Checking account, we do ask that an adult accompanies you at one of our nearby TD Bank Stores to open a joint Checking account. For hours, locations and contact numbers near you, take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. You may contact the store directly to set up an appointment. You also have the option to make an appointment to visit any TD Bank location by contacting at the number provided above. One of our Specialists can help and set up the appointment for you.
If you do visit us to open an account, please keep in mind that you will need to provide a valid form of identity such as a State License, State ID or Passport. If you are a minor, acceptable forms of identification for minors include; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card.
We hope this information answers all your questions, Chris. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great day!
