What is needed to open a business checking account? What are the qualifications for a business loan? My business is new and does not have any previous credit history, etc. Will I still be qualified for a business loan for a small amount, $5000 or less?

Hi Megan, Thanks for connecting with us here at TD Helps. We're very glad to hear you're starting a business and are looking to TD Bank for your banking needs!
We appreciate you considering us to handle your accounts and happy to provide you with information about our Small Business accounts. Please check out http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe for information about different Small Business accounts we offer. Also, you can use our Business Checking Selector Tool which will help recommend the account best for you. You can find it here http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. Our Business Banking Specialists are available to assist you with any questions 24/7 at 855-278-8988 or you can complete a request here http://bit.ly/SWDqsn to schedule a phone call from a Specialist.
You can use our Store locator here http://bit.ly/TDStores to find the TD Bank Store nearest to you and come in to setup a Small Business account with us. There you can also discuss options for a Small Business loan and what qualifications we use to complete an application.
When visiting a Store, if your business account is going to have multiple signers, please be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process. All signers of the account will need to bring both a valid photo I. D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D., etc.) and their Social Security number. If any of the signers are non-residents of the US, they would need two valid forms of I.D. and a W-8BEN form. You will also need to bring: the Tax Identification Number for the business, legal name, and physical address. For some more information on our Business Resources we invite you to check out http://bit.ly/1k5RiNG.
Hope this helps Megan. If you have any other questions, please step into a Store or call us and speak with a Banking Specialist anytime 24/7. Have a great day and good luck with your new business!
