Good to see you on TD Helps this afternoon, Debra! We'll be sure to answer any questions you may have regarding your business debit card.
The POS daily limit on debit cards is $2,000.00. We invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1BZrpmM. On pages 38-39, you'll be able to find more information about the types of transactions you'll be able to use your card for, as well as the limits which apply per day.
If you are expecting to spend more than what is permitted on your daily limit, we can offer a couple of options to request an increase. Please note, in order to have your debit card limit increased you must have a deposit account older than 90 days that is in Normal status and have a sufficient balance to cover the requested amount.
One option you have is sending a Secure Message through online banking. If you're already enrolled, you may send us a Secure Message to request an increase by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8. After you sign in, please find the Customer Service tab and use the Send a Message link found there. Additionally, a second option would be to send a fax to our Fulfillment Team at 856-533-1138.
If you choose to send us a Secure Message or faxed request, please include the following information:
• Subject: Limit Increase
• Account Number
• Debit/ATM Card Number
• Your Name
• Your Telephone Number
• A Statement indicating to 'Please increase my total daily Visa (or POS or ATM) limit to $X for the day.'
• Your signature (on faxed request)
Please note: fax requests are generally completed within 2 hours.
Please keep in mind that limit increases are only valid for one calendar day and the limits will return to the original amount after this time passes. If your request is received after 6:00 pm, the increase will remain in effect for one additional calendar day.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions, Debra and have a good one!
