Welcome to the TD Helps Community, Manyah.
We'd like to take a moment to remind you that all banks including TD are required to provide statements of activity on all Consumer Checking accounts that you have with us. And, many of those accounts do have an associated fee of $1.00 when receiving paper statements every month. TD Bank has many environmental initiatives in place however and is encouraging as many Customers as we can to 'Go Green' with us to help protect the environment. You can learn more about living a green lifestyle with us here: http://bit.ly/19amHuD. Please know that one particular initiative we have is to cut paper waste and encourage Customers to enroll in paperless billing options available online if possible; paperless statements are greener, safer, and environmentally-friendly.
In order to enroll for paperless statements, you must first be enrolled in Online Banking. If you are not yet enrolled but have an ATM/Debit Card and U.S. Social Security number, you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s) here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Next, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement; then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, Account number, etc.). And finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
Once you’ve successfully logged in, please follow the steps below to enroll in paperless statements:
- Please click on the “Customer Service” tab
- Select the “Online Statement Settings” link which is located under the self-service portion (it will be the sixth link down) or in the "Help & Related Tasks" box (which is located on the left side of the page)
- Please select the account(s) you would like to enroll for Online Statements. Make sure the email address on file is correct
- You will then be asked to read the “Online (Paperless) Statement Customer Agreement” and the “Hardware and Software Requirements” – once you have opened and reviewed the 2 documents needed, please check mark the two boxes
- Select “Save Changes”
Once you are able to do this, starting with your next statement cycle, you will receive a discount for the $1.00 statement fee associated with paper statements. If you need any help with this process, please reach out us when you are by your computer anytime 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Please note, some of our Checking accounts do get waivers for certain types of fees and we encourage you to stay aware of our current product offerings by taking a look at all of our available Checking accounts here: http://bit.ly/1rqF1Fg. For a list of our current Personal Fee Schedule to see which types of waivers each account may be eligible for, please review the chart here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. You may find that a different Checking product could better suit your banking needs.
Should you have any other questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to connect with us at the number above. We are available 24/7 and after account verification, we would be happy to review your concerns further. You may also wish to visit your local TD Store for additional help. Please see: http://bit.ly/1C5lRM8 for Stores near you.
We hope this information is helpful, Manyah and please take care.
