Thanks for stopping by to TD Helps today, Jose. We'd be more than happy to help you clear up any confusion you may have.
First and foremost, we would like to welcome you to the TD Family! We are happy to have you join us on TD Helps and we will be able to give you a quick overview of your new Checking and Savings accounts along with your new TD Bank Visa Debit Card.
A TD Bank Visa Debit Card is a card that is accepted for purchases anywhere in the world that Visa is accepted. With a TD Bank Visa Debit Card you also have the option of getting cash back whenever you make a purchase with your Debit Card. You can also use your Debit Card at any ATM that accepts Visa and NYCE. When you make a purchase or withdraw using your Debit Card, the fund would be deducted from your available balance in your account.
A TD Bank Checking is typically used for everyday purchases, such as Cable/Phone Bills, Groceries and Gas purchases, just to name a few. You may make these purchases with your Debit Card or you can also issue checks with your Checking Account. We also recommend checking here: http://bit.ly/1s58xwU to see more details on the Checking Accounts that we offer.
A TD Bank Savings Account is usually used to save for numerous different things, such as Birthdays, Vacations, Holidays, Weddings and maybe as a Rainy Day fund. This account can not write any checks or be used with your debit card to make purchases but with your Debit Card you may use it at an ATM to withdraw funds. Please look here: http://bit.ly/1g5vhXQ for more information on the Savings Accounts that we offer.
If you still have any further questions or would like a more in depth explanation of the TD Bank Checking, Savings or Debit Card Account we recommend speaking with one of our Banking Specialists. They are available 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You may also stop into any TD Bank Store location and one of our Customer Service Representatives would be more than happy to review your accounts with you. For TD Bank Store hours and locations, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Once again, welcome to the TD Family and if you have any other questions feel free to ask. Have a great night, Jose.
