I am travelling to Hawaii for 3 week vacation. I dont want to carry a lot of cash money. I did not see a TD Bank in drop down list for Hawaii. Should I open a US account. What is the best solution.

Great question and thanks for stopping by today.
We notice that you're located in Brampton. We would first like to mention that you've reached us here at TD Bank in the States. Since it sounds like you bank with our partners, to best help with your question as you travel, we encourage you to reach out to our friends at TD Canada Trust. You can post your question on their TD Helps page right here: http://bit.ly/1kD3iFr, or, you can reach out to them directly. A variety of contact options can be found using this link: http://bit.ly/1woOVay.
When you reach them, they can best advise you about the options you would have with your current account, or if your best course of action would be to open an account with us here at TD Bank U.S. If they recommend this for you, you can call our Cross Border Banking Team 24/7 at 877-700-2913 to get this started or just to ask any questions you might have. They can also provide you with a couple of other options for opening a U.S. account as well.
We hope this will help during your trip, Frances.
Wishing you a great time in Hawaii and we'll talk to you soon!
