We are planning on opening a US bank account and I am comparing account fees. I would like to know what the
difference between a bill payment and ACH payment is and what would I be charged for making a single domestic online payment from a business account?

Good morning Ali, and welcome to TD Helps.

Before we begin, we'd first like to take a moment to review the different business accounts available at TD Bank. We first offer Business Checking accounts, and you're welcome to click here: https://go.td.com/2lg0QHF to learn more. If you're interested in a Savings account, you can also click here: https://go.td.com/2lLYIL4 for more information. If you're having trouble deciding, don't worry! Here at TD Bank, every business account is able to enroll in BusinessDirect, which will give you access to free Bill Payments, ACH Payments, and even Wire Transfers! To avoid any confusion, we'll be happy to explain these features in further detail.
Generally speaking, the BusinessDirect ACH feature is used by Customers for payroll purposes as funds can be sent electronically in just two business days. You would even have the ability to set up templates for your transfers. The BusinessDirect Bill Pay feature is typically used for payments that need to be made for any bills your business may have, as funds are typically sent by check in about four business days.
If you'd like to learn more about these great features and benefits, we invite you to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2qbJxPk. Additionally, if you'd like to learn more about any fees that may be assessed with these features, you're welcome to find the account of your choosing, and then click the 'View Account Guide' hyperlink.
As always, if you have any other questions or concerns, our Small Business Banking Specialists are here to help! To reach a Specialist you may simply dial 1-800-493-7562, option 2. You would also have the option of visiting your nearest TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this answered all your questions, Ali.
Take care, and enjoy the start to your Tuesday!
