Hi there Richard,
Good to have you with us and great question!
You're correct to notice a difference here, but we'd like to first ease your mind and let you know that 'POS' transactions as well as 'Debit Card' transactions are both made using your TD Visa Debit card.
If you see a debit listed online as a POS, this stands for Point Of Sale and typically appears when you use your PIN in conjunction with the transaction. On the other hand, if you process your transaction using the Visa network as a signature-based transaction, then these will appear as a Debit Card purchase online.
We'd be happy to review your account personally, Richard, if you'd like to check on this in better detail with us or if you still have questions. We're available for you 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or you can always stop in to any of our Stores listed here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We certainly hope this helps with your question today!
Thanks again for stopping by, Richard, and enjoy your afternoon.
Kristen P, Mount Laurel
