For transferring money from my dutch account to my TD account I used the number on my debit card, but now I noticed that my account number is different. Does this matter? The people at the dutch company don't know if it does, they told me to ask my american bank. It's been 7 business days now since I transferred the money.

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Loes. This is great question, and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
Your Visa Debit card or ATM card number is different from your account number, but no worries! There are many places to find your account number.
Your account number can be found on your paper statements which is located at the right top corner of the page. If you have any checks with you, the account number would be the second set of numbers located at the bottom of the check. Please check out this link for more information https://go.td.com/2bjcv63.
Additionally, if you are enrolled in Online Banking, another way to view the account number is on the "Accounts" tab of your Online Banking homepage. If you are currently not utilizing TD Bank Online Banking, but would like to be enrolled, you may contact us directly at 888-751-900 to speak with one of our Specialists, 24/7. After account verification, our Specialists would be happy to help! Please note, for the security of your account we are unable to provide account numbers over the telephone.
If you are unable to verify your account, or if you prefer to sit with a Customer Service Representative, you may also visit us during lobby hours at a nearby TD Store. Once enrolled, you will have complete access to your online account where you will be able to view your account number, balance and transactions, and other great features TD Bank offers with Online Banking. Please visit https://go.td.com/1nq31dc to find out TD Store locations near you.
We hope this helped, Loes, and please enjoy the rest of your day.
