what is the dollar limit for check deposits using the mobile app. I tried to deposit a $17000 check and was told it was to large. I can find no limit unless it is hidden in the verbiage somewhere. certainly, it is not in the video regarding use of the app. Since I do not currently live near a location this is a real pain.

Welcome to TD Helps, Vincent.
Mobile Deposit limits do depend on the length of your relationship with TD Bank. At this time, the limits to the amounts you can deposit using the Mobile Deposit feature are as follows:
3-6 months, deposit up to: - Daily Limit: $1,000 - 30-day Limit: $2,500
6-12 months, deposit up to: - Daily Limit: $2,500 - 30-day Limit: $3,500
More than 1 year, deposit up to: - Daily Limit: $2,500 - 30-day Limit: $6,000
Please note; the limits are subject to change. Additionally, the 30-day limit is rolling and does not follow the calendar month or the statement cycle. We invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF for more information and to see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for TD Bank Mobile Deposit. We'd be happy to answer any additional questions you may have about Mobile Deposit. Please call one of our Tech Support Specialists 24/7 at 800-493-7562 whenever it's convenient for you, or you're also welcome at any TD Bank Store near you; please see http://bit.ly/TDStores for your locations.
If the amount of the check exceeded your Mobile Deposit limits, you have other options to deposit your check. You may make your deposit at your local TD Bank Store, at a TD ATM or you may mail your check to our Banking by Mail department.
Banking by mail is simple, and easy. All you would need to do is mail your deposit to the address below:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, Maine 04243
The P.O. Box is checked daily and transactions are posted the same day.
We recommend visiting http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ to learn more about our funds availability policy starting on page 38. Also keep in mind that the TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in mail. Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail - Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same - Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only") - Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed - Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy - If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly - Do not staple transactions.
Thanks for reaching out and take care, Vincent.
