Hi Susan, thanks for writing in today! It'll be our pleasure to provide you with some transfer options.
If you're enrolled for Online Banking at www.tdbank.com, you can use our Person-to-Person transfer option to request the funds from someone else's account at a different Financial Institution. If you have not enrolled for Online Banking yet, you may do so any time here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need to provide your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card number, account number, and your email address. If you have trouble enrolling, you can call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours. Our Banking Specialists will be happy to help you enroll.
You may also log in by clicking here http://bit.ly/1eaISlq if you're already enrolled. To request funds, please first click on the Person-to-Person tab then select the "Request Money" option. The person who you are requesting the funds from will then receive a text message or email notification regarding your request. This person can then choose what financial institution or account to debit the funds from. For the Terms and Conditions in addition to information on the payment methods and amounts, please check http://bit.ly/1pADlWD.
If you're looking to transfer funds from an account you have at another Financial Institution, you may request funds by completing an External Transfer. It's completed similarly to the instructions above however you would click on the Transfers tab and then Transfer to an Account Outside of TD Bank.
Another option is for this person to send you a wire transfer, in which case you will need to provide them with the following information, depending on whether the transfer is domestic or international.
For funds being sent in US Dollars you will need:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington, Delaware
Your full name as it appears on your account statement
Your account number
If the funds are being sent in Foreign Currency, you will also need to include the additional information as follows:
Correspondent Bank SWIFT Code: TDOMCATTTOR
Correspondent Bank: The Toronto Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5k 1A2
Beneficiary Bank SWIFT Code: NRTHUS33XXX
Beneficiary Bank address: including TD Bank, Store Address: Street, City, State, and Country (If unsure, you may use: TD Bank, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054).
In Favor of: Beneficiary Account Number
In Favor of: Beneficiary's Full Name and Full Address as it appears on your TD Bank account statement
We do not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and we return them to the sender. Please keep in mind that fees may apply, for more information on the fees please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We also recommend contacting the Financial Institution that will be initiating the transfer to see if there are any other options.
We hope this helps, Susan and please let us know if you have any additional questions.
