I have moved to Japan and have been working there for couples of years.
I would like to transfer around 25000 CAD worth of yen to my TD Bank account in Canada.
From what I understand, there is two way to do the transfer.
1) Japan local bank exchanges the yen into dollars and transfer into TD Bank in Canada
2) Japan local bank transfer the yen into TD Bank in Canada and TD Bank do the yen exchanges to CAD.
What will be the fee in the above two situation? Please correct me if I am wrong.
