Good afternoon, Joyce and welcome to TD Helps! We'll be glad to answer any questions you may have about Safe Deposit Boxes.
Many of our Stores have safe deposit boxes in various sizes and the annual rental fee is based on the size of the box. We suggest checking with your local TD Bank for safe deposit box availability, as this can vary by Store. Please find location and contact information for TD Bank Stores near you here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Unlike deposits in Customer accounts, the FDIC does not insure contents of safe deposit boxes. Safe deposit boxes are owned by TD Bank and rented to our Customers.
Any additional questions you may have can also be answered by a friendly Customer Service Representative at 1-888-751-9000, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any further questions, we're happy to help!

Thanks for joining in, Bryan.
As Luis mentioned above, we offer a variety of safe deposit box sizes. The cost to rent a safe deposit box varies by size and the sizes available may vary by Store. Because of this, we ask that you speak with the TD location you are interested in to determine the sizes available and the cost to rent.
To take a look at TD Stores near you and their contact telephone numbers please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Thanks again, Bryan and have a nice night!

As i stay in South Africa and i travel to USA for holidays very often. Again i am coming to USA end of this month for holidays. Tell me can i open a Checking account with TD Bank on my visitor Visa? If yes then what kind of documents should i provide to open a account. As i will have my Passport with Valid visa and will bring my South African international Driving license as well. But unfortunately i won't have any residential address as i stay in South Africa but not in USA.
Please advise me regarding this matter. I will appreciate

Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a Non-US resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We also recommend reaching out to the TD Store you plan on visiting prior to your trip to determine if there are any additional documents required to open an account.
We hope this helps, Saba and have a good day.
