I have a personal check written to me for $1,000. I need to get this cashed, The check is a TD Bank check, so I know I am ABLE to cash it, my question is, is there a limit to how much I can receive back with no account? I'm fairly certain most institutions are right at the $1,000 mark. How does this work at TD Bank?

We appreciate the visit, Matt. We'd be happy to help point you in the right direction.
If the check in question is drawn on TD Bank N.A. it can be cashed at any TD Bank location with your valid photo ID. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. We do recommend connecting with the TD Store prior to your visit to inform them of your transaction to ensure the funds are ready.
As you mentioned you are not a TD Bank Customer at this time, please note; there may be a fee of $7.00 per check for this check cashing service regardless the amount of the check. However, if you wish to open an account with us, this fee will be waived. Please note; fees are subject to change.
We hope this helps. Have a great day and let us know if you need anything else.
