Great question, Kathy and thanks for stopping by TD Helps for your answer. At TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking, Savings and Money Market accounts. Some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fees. If you fall below your required daily minimum balance, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of your statement cycle. For more details on the Savings account we offer, please check out: http://bit.ly/175HP3R as it also outlines the daily minimum balance required to avoid a maintenance fee. If you are unable to locate the product types you currently have online, we have some options for you. Please feel free to call 888-751-9000, 24/7 to speak with one of our Banking Specialists. After account verification they'd be more than happy to review your account with you and confirm the minimum balance requirement on each of your accounts. Additionally, you may visit any TD Bank Store to have your account reviewed in person. For a listing of TD Bank Stores please see here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Also, if you are enrolled for Online Banking, you may send a secure message using www.tdbank.com. To send a secure message you must first login to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center." If you have not enrolled, please call us 24/7 at the number provided above to speak with our Banking Specialists. We hope this information answers your question. Please let us know should you have any further questions. Have a great New Year!

I am also trying to find out what is the minimum account balance needed to avoid the monthly fee for a standard savings account. The link you provided when answering Kathy's original question did not answer that question, as that type of account is no longer listed as available. How do I find out this information?

Thanks for joining our conversations here, Michelle and we apologize for the confusion. If you have a TD Standard Statement Savings account (which is no longer available for sale at this time), the current daily minimum balance requirement is $250.00. Please note that the daily minimum balance requirement is subject to change. If you have a different Savings account product, we strongly recommend contacting our Banking Specialists directly to confirm the minimum balance requirement by choosing one of the three options provided in the previous response. Hope this response helps, Michelle. Have a wonderful day!
