In order to open an individual account with TD Bank, you're required to be 18 years of age or older.
We currently offer multiple types of IRA accounts and the minimum amount to open an IRA account varies depending on the type of the IRA account you're interested. If you are at least 18 years of age or older and you are ready to set up your IRA or Roth IRA account, you may visit us at any TD Store location during lobby hours. You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
