Thanks for connecting with us, Dan. We’ll be glad to help provide information about our Savings Accounts.
The great thing about saving is that it's never too late to start! Here at TD Bank, we offer many types of Savings Accounts that can fit your needs. To start off, we recommend taking a look at http://bit.ly/VSxF0d for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account. Once at that page, please select "Rates and Fees" tab, and located under "Minimum Daily Balance Requirement to Waive Fee" would be the information for the minimum balance for each Savings Account. If you are unsure of which account is best for you, no worries! With our Savings Selector Tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd, you can get a personalized recommendation from TD Bank!
If you decide you would like to open a savings account, you can open the account Online by selecting the "Open Account" box which is located under each specific account type. You're also able to call our 24/7 Customer Service Line at 1 (888) 751-9000 or you could stop by at any local TD Bank Store. To find the nearest TD Bank Store please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note, to open the Savings Account at a TD Store, you will need to supply a valid Identification (State License, State ID or Passport) and your Social Security Number. If you choose to open your account over the phone we will send you the signature card for you to sign in order to complete the process.
Thanks again for reaching out to us at TD Helps, Dan. We hope the information provided helps and hope you have a fantastic day!
