TD Bank 50 Plus Checking account is a grandfathered product. Currently, the minimum daily balance requirement to avoid the maintenance fee is $250.00. Please note; the minimum daily balance requirement is subject to change.

If you wish to change your existing TD Checking Account to a different product type, you may call our Banking Specialists or send us a secure message via Online Banking. To connect with one of our Banking Specialists, you can call 888-751-9000 24/7 and upon verification, they will be able to assist you.
To send a secure message you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you have not enrolled, to start the enrollment process, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy – allowing you to view your accounts in just three simple steps! First, you'll have to accept the Online Banking Agreement. Then, we'll ask you to enter in your personal information (Name, Social Security number, account number, etc.) and finally, you will have to set up three security questions. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. If you experience any difficulties, please contact us at 1-800-493-7562 to speak with one of our Digital Specialists.
Once you've successfully enrolled, to send a secure message, on the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. When sending us the secure message, please be sure to provide us your account number and the account type you are requesting and we will be happy to process your request.
We remain committed to ensuring the highest level of satisfaction with all of our products and services. Please note; your account number will remain the same even though your account type is being changed.

At TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking accounts. Some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fees. If you fall below your required daily minimum balance, the maintenance fee would be assessed on the last day of your statement cycle.
