Hi Becky! Thanks for writing in. That's a great question.
If you have a check, tax refund or other, that is made payable to multiple people who are not on the same TD Bank account, it can still be deposited. To do this, all payees will need to visit a TD Bank Store and sign an Endorsement Release Form. This document states that they have given permission for a check made payable to them to be deposited into an account to which they do not have access.
Once this form has been signed by all payees, the check should follow normal deposit availability. We encourage you to review the Personal Deposit Account Agreement on pages 41-44 for additional information about funds availability by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ.
To find a Store near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope you're having a great day, Becky!
