Hi Danielle, thanks for writing in, it'll be our pleasure to provide you with more information.
Typically for a home closing, you may be asked to initiate a wire to send funds. In your case since the money will be coming from a joint account either party can go to a TD Store to initiate either a domestic or international wire transfer. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address (including city, state/province, country), and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address( including city, state/province and country) of the financial institution receiving the funds
· The amount and currency of the transfer
In regards to the timeframe involved to complete a wire transfer, this can vary on a few things, including whether the transfer is domestic or international, or if any intermediary banks are used during the transfer. To best assist, we recommend reviewing the timeframe with the Store when you stop by to initiate your wire. Please note that fees may apply for this service and we invite you view our full fee schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We hope this helps, Danielle and good luck with the closing!
