Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Karen.
We'd be happy to review with you how to deposit this type of check. If an insurance check is made payable to an individual and a business it must be reviewed further prior to cashing or depositing the check. Typically, we do require an Endorsement Release form to be completed in order to negotiate these checks; however, Endorsement Release forms are only used for individuals and not for business purposes. If a business is the lien holder of the check a notarized business letterhead acknowledging where the funds are intended to be deposited must be accompanied with the check you'd like to deposit. Also, please note we're unable to accept insurance third party or double endorsed checks.
If you have any further questions about this particular check, we recommend visiting your nearest TD Bank Store and they will be able to review this check with you. For a listing of locations and lobby hours, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We appreciate you stopping by and have a great day.
