Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, John. We'd be happy to help.
First, to answer your question, we typically require three security questions on file for personal Online Banking accounts, and it's possible for Customers to have more if they established their account this way.
We'd like to let you know that online banking profiles are determined by the Social Security number of the account holder that initially set up the online account. Based on your question, it sounds as though your wife originally set up the access under her name, and you are using her online banking account. This being said, you may like to use your own information to enroll in this service and obtain your own online banking account.
Feel free to use our enrollment self-service link at: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to sign up, and please have your account number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit card number, your Social Security number and email address handy to do so. You'll complete three quick steps, including establishing your own security questions, and after these steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online.
If you are unsure as to who originally enrolled in Online Banking or you need help enrolling, we ask that you contact us directly for assistance. You may do so 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours for help. For Store hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, John and have a great one!
