Great question, Julie, and thanks for bringing it to TD Helps today! We understand the importance of exploring your financial options and we're glad to assist you.
The compounding and crediting of interest happens on all of our interest-bearing accounts (except Holiday Club and Club Saver accounts) on a monthly basis. For our Holiday Club and Club Saver accounts, the interest is compounded daily and credited at maturity. For further details, check out our Personal Deposit Account Agreement (Pages 27-37) here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ.
If you are inquiring about different Savings products offered by TD Bank, you can find them listed here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT. The interest rate currently offered is also available by clicking on "View Details" for each product. For most products, interest is compounded and paid monthly.
We'd recommend reviewing any product you may like to be sure, and depending on the type of Savings you're looking for, we also invite you to use our Savings Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd which can help you find the best account for you.
In case you are referring to being interesting in investment accounts, please refer to TD Ameritrade for your questions and they can be reached at 800-400-3603, 24/7. Here is also a quick link to the TD Ameritrade web site: http://bit.ly/1o5CpfJ.
Thanks again for stopping by, Julie, and we hope you have a wonderful evening!
