Thank you for reaching out to us with your question, William. A wire transfer can be received as long as the right account information is used when sending. The information required will depend on where the funds are initially coming from. Please see below for directions and additional information.
If the funds are domestic and incoming into the TD Bank US account, the following information is needed:
Wire To: TD Bank
ABA# (Routing Number): 031101266
The account title, exactly as it appears on the receiving account
The account number
Funds can be wire transferred into any transaction account (e.g. Checking, Money Market or Statement Savings). We post all incoming wires from the Federal Reserve until 6:30pm on the current banking day. A confirmation is sent to you the day the wire transfer is credited to your account. At this time, we may not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and will return them to the sender.
If you have any further questions, please contact us via email or call 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
