Thanks for your interest in accounts with TD, Frances. We'd be glad to help!
Please know that when you open a checking account, you are able to open any savings account of your choosing!
We encourage you to take a look here: http://go.td.com/1OlFa58 and our savings accounts here: http://go.td.com/1pJT9I9. You are also able to receive custom recommendations for your checking and savings account by using our account selector tools. Visit here: http://go.td.com/1vW1xnU for checking and here: http://go.td.com/1vW1DvM for savings.
Once you've decided on the accounts you'd like to open, you're able to do so online by selecting "Open Account," by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or by visiting any TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Please know regardless of the method you choose, you will need a Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.).
We hope this helps, Frances and have a good morning!
