What should I do when I find the wrong amount was withdrawn on a check? It was written for $100, but $150 was withdrawn from my account.

That's a great question, Eva, and we apologize for the hold time.
If you find that a check posted to your account for the wrong amount, we would be more than happy to file a request for an adjustment for you. Please know that there are a few ways you may contact us, for this to be done.
You may call us directly at 888-751-9000, where we are available 24/7. You may also visit your local TD Store. To find your local Store as well as their hours, please check out this link: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
Lastly, if you currently have access to your Online Banking, you may also send us a Secure Message. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message.' If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. Please be sure to specify the check number and account number, including a brief description that this check posted for the wrong amount.
