When my debit card at the gas station, and when using certain apps, I'm asked to put in my zip code. I live in Canada and my address has a postal code instead of a zip.
What zip code should I enter so that my card works?

Great question and we appreciate you inquiring!
If it occurs that merchants ask you to provide a U.S. ZIP Code when completing a transaction, you may have a couple of options.
First, if you do have a U.S. address you can provide to us, we'd be happy to update this information on your account. We recommend this solution so that you'll be able to avoid this issue with all future purchases. To place an update, or just to check on the address currently listed for your account, please reach our Cross Border Banking Team 24/7 at 877-700-2913.
If you don't have a U.S. address or prefer another solution, we may be able to offer you an alternative. Depending on the merchant, when prompted for a U.S. ZIP Code you may be able to enter another combination of numbers. This would be the digits included in your postal code followed by two 0’s. For example, if your postal code is A2B 3C4, you would enter 23400. Kindly note that approval for using this in lieu of a ZIP Code would depend on the merchant.
