Good afternoon, Tony and we appreciate you submitting your inquiry on TD Helps.
Seeing that you're writing in from Canada, please know that you've reached TD Bank in the U.S. If you are trying to find out the Institution number and Branch transit number for your account with TD Canada Trust, we invite you to take a look at this conversation: http://bit.ly/1AKaGqc where our friends Meghan and Geoffrey have provided some information you may be able to use. If you have other questions for our Canadian team, we invite you to reply there or simply post your own new question here: http://bit.ly/1kD3iFr.
If you're a TD Bank U.S. Customer, we'd like to let you know that TD Bank U.S. Routing Numbers are based upon the TD location where you originally opened your account. For a list of our current Routing Numbers please check out: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF. If you are not certain which TD location you opened your account at, we invite to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for your Routing Number or feel free to visit us during lobby hours for assistance. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a list of TD Stores and hours near you.
There are a couple of ways you may obtain your TD Bank U.S. account number and we'd be glad to provide the options here.
First, your account number can be found on the paper statement which is located at the right top corner of the page. If you have any checks with you, the account number would be the second set of numbers located at the bottom of the check. Please check out this link for more information http://bit.ly/1qH2i2K. Please be informed that for the security of your account information, we do not provide account numbers via e-mail or over the phone.
Another way to locate your account number is via Online Banking. If you are enrolled for our Online Banking, please click on the "Accounts" tab and you should be able to view your account numbers on the next screen. If you are currently not utilizing TD Bank Online Banking but would like to be enrolled, you can contact us directly at the same telephone number listed above to speak with one of our Banking Specialists. After proper account verification, our Specialists would be happy to help you set up your Online Banking! If you are unable to verify your account or if you prefer to sit with a Store Customer Service Representative, you may also visit us during lobby hours at a nearby TD Store. While you're at the Store, they will be able to provide you with your account number in person after verifying you with your valid photo ID. They can also assist you with Online Banking enrollment.
Let us know if you need additional assistance, Tony. Have a wonderful afternoon!
