I've been traveling abroad, and while I was in India, I used Alibaba.com to buy some furniture. The payment was made on Alibaba.com, and it shows up as ALIBABA.COM LONDON on my account. The amount was upwards of $3500, and the supplier was based out of China.
The supplier claims to have shipped the furniture, but has sent me fake documents, so I could never get the furniture at all. I filed a dispute with Alibaba, but they didn't help resolve it either. This whole process took nearly three months.
This transaction was made on February 3, 2016, and it's the fourth week of May as you can see. I would like to file a chargeback on the transaction and get my money back, since I never got the furniture.
What can I do about it now?
