What's the fastest way to get a check or cashiers check if I'm not near an TD Bank? I'm looking to put a downpayment on a car in the next week, but I am out of personal checks, so I need to figure out how to do this.

It's great to have you here on TD Helps, Liz! We will be happy to provide you with the information needed.
At this time, the only way to obtain a cashier's check is by visiting a TD Bank Store. If you are unable to visit a Store at this time, you may wish to use to your debit card to make a purchase.
First, we'd like to let you know that for the protection of your TD Bank account, your TD Debit card has daily limits placed on it. For information on your daily limit amounts, please take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ (Pages 43-44).
If you review this information and decide that you'll need a higher limit for this payment, we understand and can provide some options to increase the limit. Please note, in order to have your debit card limit increased you must have a deposit account older than 90 days that is in a Normal status. You also must have a sufficient balance to cover the requested amount.
To increase the limits on your Visa Debit card, you can send us a request via secure email or contact our 24/7 Customer Service at 888-751-9000. Please login to your TD Bank online account at https://go.td.com/1eaISlq and use the Send a Message link after clicking the Customer Service tab, please include the following information:
• Subject: Limit Increase
• Account Number
• Debit/ATM Card Number
• Your Name
•Contact Telephone Number
• A Statement indicating 'Please increase my total daily Visa (or POS or ATM) limit to $X for the day.'
• Your Signature (for the fax option only)
Please note, limit increases are temporary and the transaction must be completed the same day that the limit increase is granted. If you are interested in a permanent limit increase or decrease, you must visit your local TD Store location to make the request.
Hope this helps with your payment, Liz! Best of luck and enjoy your week.
