We're so happy to hear that you may be interested in growing your business with TD! We'll be happy to tell you more, welcome.
First, there is usually only a small minimum required to open one of our business accounts. Please keep in mind that this can vary by account. We'd like to take a moment to let you know more about the account options available. Once you have found an account you like, you can click on the "View Account Guide" link which is listed below each account title. Once this page opens, it will review in detail any minimum needed to open that account and any applicable fees.
To review the Business Checking options we offer, please visit http://bit.ly/1uCacgJ, or feel free to use our Business Checking Selector: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw to make sure you have the best product for you. If you need assistance while reviewing these options, a Business Banking Specialist would be a happy to help via telephone at 855-278-8988. You can also request a call from a Small Business Banking Specialist; please click here: http://bit.ly/K9iZ78 to fill in our form and we'll call you within 24 business hours. We can set you up with a Store appointment as well, when we get in touch with you.
Once you've found an account you like, you can open it at any TD Bank location. If you'd rather stop in when you're ready, for information on our Store hours and locations please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
When visiting us, you'll need the following documents to open the account: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D., etc.) and your Social Security number. if your business account is going to have multiple signers, be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process with the same forms of I.D. If any of the signers are non-residents of the U.S., they would need two valid forms of I.D. and a W-8BEN form. You will also need to bring the Tax Identification number for the business, legal name, and physical address.
Also, please note that depending on the type of business you have, there may be additional documents you will need to bring with you. We'd recommend that you discuss this prior to stopping in at a Store, either by speaking with one of our Business Specialists as mentioned above or by contacting your preferred location. The telephone numbers for our Stores are listed at our Location Finder as posted above.
We hope this is helpful information for you, Nicola. If we missed anything, please feel free to click 'Reply' so we can chat again.
We look forward to doing business with you! Thanks again and hope to see you soon.
