We understand your concern, Andre. We'd be glad to discuss.
Please know that TD Bank acquired Commerce Bank in 2008. Because of this, some companies may still have us listed using Commerce Bank as our name. Not to worry though. As long as you submit the correct account and routing number to your employer, your direct deposit should be credited without issue.
For direct deposits, funds are available to you on the date designated by your depositor. These types of deposits are processed overnight at varying times and will be available for use once processing is complete. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 40-44 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Please note, if you've just started your direct deposit with your employer and haven't received a deposit yet, please keep in mind that direct deposits generally take 1-2 payment cycles to begin. Usually, they will test the account first with a zero dollar deposit to make sure all your account information is correct.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this helps, Andre. Have a good day.
