We understand your concern, Huriel. We'd be glad to discuss debit cards with you.
We're happy to share that as of September 2015 we've begun issuing our debit cards with chip (EMV) technology. We are sending new debit cards to our Customers who have cards expiring and we will continue to so as cards expire.
While these are not available yet via instant-issue at our Stores, if you'd like to replace your card, feel free to get in touch with us. You can either give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or you can stop in to a Store and we'll be happy to place your request for you. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
You are also able to send a secure message to request a chip debit card. To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
With either method, your new card will arrive to you via mail in approximately 7-10 business days. These will arrive with instructions so you can familiarize yourself with this type of card as well as some FAQs for you. For more details along with FAQs, please also visit: http://go.td.com/1Ex8IvZ.
We hope this helps, Huriel. Have a good day!
