I made an internal transfer from my checking to my savings after 8:00PM on Friday, which I thought was the ending hour of a business day. However, I saw on my account that the transfer was posted immediately even though I had made the transfer around 8:50PM.

Hey Jean, welcome to TD Helps!
When you initiate an internal transfer from your personal deposit accounts such as a Checking or Savings account via Online Banking, that transfer will post on the same business day if you made the request before 11:00PM. Please note, a business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays.
