Great question, Ken! We'd be glad to discuss the finer details of Bill Pay.
Please know that the length of time it takes for payments to be subtracted from your account balance when using Bill Pay may vary based on how the payment is being sent.
If Bill Pay is going to send the payment to your biller electronically, you will see a debit on the scheduled date or, if this day is a non-business day, the payment will show up on the next closest business day.
If the payment is being sent as a physical check, we will mail this item in sufficient time to reach your biller on the pay date however it is up to your biller to cash/deposit the check in a timely manner.
Keep in mind that Bill Pay will also review this information with you prior to submitting a payment.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, we recommend reaching out to our Tech Support Specialists 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
We hope this clears things up, Ken. Have a good day.
