When I closed my home equity line of credit in 2015, I received $250 from TD Bank. Is this taxable? If so, what is TD Bank's Employer ID# Thank you.

Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Richard. We'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
This may constitute taxable income to you, and we may issue you an Internal Revenue Service Form 1099 (or other applicable form) that reflects this amount as required by applicable law. Please be aware that TD does not provide tax advice and we recommend consulting your tax advisor for more information.
Hope this helps out, Richard. Let us know if you need anything else.

When will TD Bank be issuing IRS Form 1099?
I cannot file my tax return until this matter is resolved.

Hello Richard and thanks for choosing to connect with us on TD Helps today.
First, we'd like to let you know that TD Bank 1099-INT forms were generated and mailed by January 31, 2015 for Customers who earned more than $10.00 in interest for the previous year on their deposit accounts.
If it sounds like you should be receiving the form, if you have not received it within 7-10 business days after January 31st, you will have a few ways to request a copy. You may give us a call, send a Secure Message or visit any TD Bank Store. You may choose which option is most convenient for you! To connect with one of our Banking Specialists, you can call us at 888-751-9000, 24/7 and upon verification, they will be able to submit a request for a copy of your 1099-INT form.
To send a Secure Message instead, you must first be enrolled in Online Banking and to start the process please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number and email address. Once enrolled, you may send a Secure Message by selecting "Send a secure message" located on the left hand side of the page, beneath "Message Center." In your message, please be sure to include the account numbers, your current address and the reason you're requesting a copy (i.e. lost other copy, did not receive original). Or, come in and see us! We're available at the times and locations showed here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Have a great day!
