Thank you for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Ken. We'd be happy to help you understand your Bill Pay items.
If the Bill Pay check is being displayed on your account history or your statement, that is the date in which the payee cashed the check and the funds were debited from your account.
The date that you select when scheduling a payment using Bill Pay is the date in which your payee will receive the check. It is then up to the payee to cash or deposit the check.
If you ever have any questions or concerns about Bill Pay, we recommend reaching out to our Digital Banking Specialists. They are available 24/7 by dialing 800-493-7562.
We hope this helps, Ken and have a good day.
