Hi Damian, we appreciate you reaching out to us at TD Helps with your concerns. We're glad to help you through any issues with our Bank-by-Phone system.
We've recently updated our Bank-by-Phone (IVR) system for your convenience. The first time you use the new system, it will prompt you to enter either your account number or your TD Bank VISA Debit Card number. After that, it will ask you to confirm the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. Since you are trying to access a business account and not a personal account, you will need to enter the last 4 digits of the Tax I.D. Number of the business, not your personal Social Security Number. After entering this number upon first use, the system will then ask you to create a unique 4 digit Phone Code to use for future access through the IVR system. This Phone Code will replace your old Bank-by-Phone PIN and is independent of the PIN# associated with your VISA Debit Card. Some tips to remember when creating this Phone Code:
- Create something unique that will be hard for others to guess
- Choose numbers that you can remember, but do not easily relate back to you (i.e. birthdates, addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
- You should not continue to use the last 4 digits of your SSN
- We recommend *not* using the same code as your Debit Card PIN Number to prevent unauthorized access
If you're trying to access your business account and have a personal account with us, you can use the debit card for your business or your personal account number. You would then choose the option "Access another account" and select the business account from that menu.
You can find some helpful information about our Bank-by-Phone system along with a listing of the menu options here: http://bit.ly/1kjSBmQ. If you have any questions about using the new system, please feel free to speak with a live Banking Specialist at 888-751-9000. We're available 24/7 to help with any concerns you may have and navigate you through it if necessary.
We hope this solves the issue Damian. Please connect with us again if you have any other questions. Have a great day!
