traveling in europe I will need to use my atm card to withdraw money from foreign atm machines. What is the service charge from td bank? are some atms in europe or Italy less expensive to use than others /

Thanks for writing into TD Helps, Brian! We'll be sure to provide some information regarding debit card usage in Europe.
When traveling, you can make an ATM withdrawal from any machine that displays the VISA or PLUS logo. We encourage you to check out our current fee schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may be applied when you use your Debit Card outside of the country. We also want to point out that additional fees may also be applied by the owner of the ATM as well.
If you are unable to find an ATM that is compatible with your TD Bank Visa Debit Card, you may also use your debit card to obtain a VISA Cash Advance. Please note, that your Visa Debit Card can be used anywhere that Visa is accepted.
We also encourage you to place travel notes on your account, if you haven't done so already.
You may contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 to have a Customer Service Representative place a travel notification on your accounts. You may also send us a Secured Message through Online Banking as well. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account and click on the "Customer Service" tab and then select "Send a Message". If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flights, if applicable. If you are unable to call or send us a secure message, you can always visit your local TD Bank and have a Customer Service Representative place the travel notes for you.
