(I have a joint account), the corresponding check box appears to be grey'd out. Is it possible to remove the 2nd name (from the checks) so only the 1st name on the account is shown?

First, we'd like to let you know that for your account security, the "Order Checks" option available online will allow you to place orders with the information we already have on file for you.
If your name or other info to be printed on your checks has changed or any information needs to be added, we welcome you to contact a Banking Specialist at your convenience for an update. Give us a call anytime 24/7 at 888-751-9000, or feel free to stop in at any TD Bank Store near you; please see http://bit.ly/TDStores for locations. If the address you'll need is the address you're already using for your accounts, we'll be able to make the adjustment and order your checks immediately. If your address needs updating on your account as well, we'll have you ready to go within 2-3 business days.
