If you made payment to a merchant online and the payment was made with a TD Debit Card, the payment should be deducted from your available balance immediately. However; payments in which you provide the account number and routing number may take up to 3-5 business days to reflect from your account.
If the payment was made via TD Bill Pay and you chose next day delivery that would mean the payment was sent electronically and would be deducted on following business day. If the payment was sent via check, next day delivery is not available, it will not reflect your account until the merchant deposits or cashes the payment.
