Many ATMs outside the United States limit withdrawals to checking accounts only, TD Bank Online can be used to transfer money from your savings account to your checking account should more funds be needed.
Typically before travelling, we recommend placing Travel Notifications on your account. If you have not already done so, you can by calling our Customer Service Line at 888-751-9000. To send a secured message you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. If you are not set up for Online Banking, please visit here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, Social Security number and ATM/debit card handy to complete the enrollment process.
If you need to call us while you're outside the United States you may do so by dialing 856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518.
