I recently wrote a check recently for XXXX to my girlfriend as a reimbursement check, she doesn’t use TD but uses PNC how long will it take? - Does PNC need to verify that it’s a TD Bank check? - I didn’t see the funds get taken out yet.

We apologize for any confusion you may be experiencing, and we'll be more than happy to help.
Typically, when you provide a personal check to a friend or family member, or in this case your girlfriend, regardless of your payee's financial institution, once the check has been presented for payment, the funds will typically be debited from your account by the following business date.
However, as you mentioned that the funds have not yet been debited, we'd like to recommend that you contact your girlfriend in regard to the check you provided her, as it appears that she may not have presented her check for payment at her financial institution.

If you're unable to call or visit a TD Store location, that's okay, as you may always send us a secure message, directly from your Online Banking. To send a secure message, you will first want to log into your TD Bank online profile by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you've successfully logged in, look for the 'Message Center' on the left hand side and select 'Send a secure message'.
If you have downloaded our mobile banking app for your smartphone, you may also use this method to send a secure message. From your Mobile Banking, log in and select 'Send a Secure Message' from the side Menu. We generally respond within 24 hours or less.
