Hi Christine, thanks for reaching out to us today. You've asked a great question and we'll be glad to clear this up for you.
When setting up a direct deposit, if it asks for the Bank Transit or ABA number, that would be considered the routing number as well. If you're unsure of your routing number, please know that it would vary depend on where you originally opened your TD account. Seeing that you're writing in from Pennsylvania, if that's where you opened your account, your routing number would be 036001808. For a complete listing of TD routing numbers please view: http://bit.ly/1qH2i2K. If you're unsure of where you opened your account, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and we'll be glad to provide you with your routing number.
Additionally, as you mentioned you're setting up a direct deposit, we have a prepared form that you may use if you would like to complete the set up. You can find the form here: http://bit.ly/1sSvhT6, where you can view and print it. Once you print it, just fill in your personal information and hand the completed form to your Employer and they'll do the rest!
We hope this helps Christine and enjoy the rest of your day.
