Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Martin. We'd be happy to help.
You will be glad to learn that there are some TD Canada Trust ATMs do dispense U.S. Currency. To learn more about the locations, please follow here: http://bit.ly/1yu2God for a response provided by our teammate Scott from TD Canada Trust.
Please keep in mind that the exchange rate you receive at any TD ATM is not set by the bank. Foreign exchange rates are published by the government and fluctuate daily, and customers will pay the VISA exchange rate at the time of withdrawal.
Please also be aware that a TD Canada Trust ATM may offer your current balance in Canadian Dollars. Should you visit there, we recommend reviewing your account balance in US Dollars by logging in to your TD Bank Online banking account at: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, or by calling a friendly Customer Service Representative 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000. We also suggest contacting us about a week prior to your trip to let us know the dates and location(s) of your travel, to avoid any card acceptance issues once you arrive. This can be done using the number as above, or at any local TD Bank Store. Please see http://bit.ly/TDStores if you'd like to visit one near you.
You may be able exchange Canadian funds for US dollars while away. Please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1A9fpOI. Our friends on the Canadian TD Helps team have answered a similar question that you may find helpful. You may also submit your own unique question via the previous link.
We hope this helps, Martin and have a good night.
