I need to transfer money from my polish account to account in your bank.
The institution gave me: CHECKING NUMBER, ROUTING NUMBER and SWIFT CODE. They also gave me bank address which is TD Bank NA - 26th & 7th Branch, NY.
My bank under this swift code finds only this TD BANK agency: N. A. 6000 Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. I found information that this is data I should use when funds are to be transferred in Foreign Currency, which I will do in this case [in polish zlotys].
The swift code institution gave me is for Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ not for 26th & 7th Branch, NY.
The routing number is for New York - Metro NYC.
My question is which data I should use?
My bank also need account number. Do I understand correctly that checking number is account number?

Good question, Anna and thank you for stopping by TD Helps for your answer.
As you mentioned in your message that the wire is being sent in foreign currency, you will need to provide the following information to your financial institution in Poland:
Wire to: The Toronto-Dominion Bank
Swift Code: TDOMCATTTOR
Bank Address: The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2
For Further Credit to (Beneficiary Bank): TD Bank, N.A.
Swift code: NRTHUS33XXX
Beneficiary Bank Address: TD BANK, N.A. 6000 Atrium Way Mount Laurel, NJ 08054, USA
In Favor of:
Beneficiary Account Number: TD Customer's full TD Bank account number
Beneficiary Full Name: TD Customer's full name as we have it listed on their account
Beneficiary Address: TD Customer's address exactly as it appears on their account
Additionally, we strongly recommend connecting with the financial institution sending the wire transfer to determine if they require you to provide an ABA#/Routing#, or a BIC/SWIFT Code to complete the transfer.
Please know that we do not process incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and they will be returned to the sender.
When sending or receiving a wire transfer, fees may apply regardless of the currency sent. For a full list of current fees including wire transfers, please review our most current Personal Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
As far as the checking number you were given, it should be the Checking account number. If you wish to verify the status of the account you will be sending the wire to, please feel free to contact us directly via telephone 24/7. When calling from any country outside the United States, please dial us direct at 1-856-751-9000 or call Collect with operator assistance from any land line phone by asking the Operator to dial 1-215-569-0518 (if you are able to gain access to a land line).
We hope the information provided help. Let us know if you have any further questions. Have a great one.
