Welcome to the TD Helps Community, Arnaud. We are happy to point you in the right direction today.
If you have a TD Bank deposit account, such as Checking, Savings or Money Market account, you may be able to deposit a check that is issued to a third party into your TD Bank account. When doing so, please ensure the check is properly endorsed by both you and your friend. An Endorsement Authorization & Release Form must be completed at the time of the deposit. Your mom can visit any TD Store during lobby hours to receive the form and complete the transaction. For Store hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note, the back of the check(s) must be endorsed by the person who the check is made out to and the person that is depositing the check before it is presented. Please note; government or insurance checks can only be presented for payment from the person listed on the "Payable to" line of the check.
Since you mentioned that you were abroad, another option to deposit your check is our convenient TD Bank Mobile Deposit, and is available for most iPhone and Android devices and to customers of at least 90 days or longer with an active checking, savings or money market account. We invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF for more information along with the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for TD Bank Mobile Deposit. Please also see this link for information and guidelines to TD Bank Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposit at: http://bit.ly/1ff8byL.
To use Mobile Deposit, you must first be enrolled for TD Bank Online Banking. If you are not currently enrolled for online banking, you may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM or Debit Card number, your Social Security number and your email address. Once at the page, please select "Personal" from the drop down box. When you select continue, you will have to read and accept the Online Banking Service Agreement. Then you will be asked to enter your personal information including the items mentioned earlier and to create a user name and password. Finally, you will be asked to create three security questions. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us 24/7, at 888-751-9000. You may contact us from abroad by dialing 1-856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
Thanks for stopping by, Arnaud and please take care!
